Additional catalogue information: The Québec Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") is warning the public about e-mails sent by persons purporting to be employees of or consultants to the Autorité des marchés financiers of Québec or France asking for personal information. In a recent case brought to our attention, a person calling himself Daniel Touffu contacted several individuals by Internet allegedly to help them recover money invested or lost through unauthorized on-line trading platforms. The individuals were asked to fill out a form bearing, without authorization, the Québec AMF logo and contact information and to e-mail the form and various banking documents to an address not at all associated with the AMF.
